Public Comments Final decisions on passport entitlement are always made by Passport Canada
Description (Service) Acts as a Passport Receiving Agent for Passport Canada
 
Accepts the following passport applications: 
  • Adult simplified renewal  
  • General adult passport 
  • Child's passport ONLY when there is participation of both parents
Hours Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4 pm
Areas Served Algoma District
Eligibility Must have Canadian citizenship
Application Forms available at post offices, most travel agents, and online
 
Any requests other than standard adult, child and renewal applications cannot be submitted at a Receiving Agent, including: 
  • Urgent or express applications 
  • Applications where a passport that is still valid for more than one year is being submitted with the new passport application 
  • A child's application if only one parent is participating 
  • Verbal or written evidence or documentation concerning a lost, stolen, inaccessible, damaged or found passport 
  • An application using a Statutory Declaration in Lieu of Guarantor (PPTC 132) form 
  • Applications involving a change of name
