Description & Services
Description (Service) Offers a variety of community services in the area of safety and health including the following:
Medical First Response Services 
  • Provides volunteer-based Medical First Response at local community events
Therapy Dog Program 
  • Visits hospitals and long term care facilities within the community 
  • Evaluates volunteers and their dogs to become part of the program
First Aid Training 
  • Provides first aid, CPR and AED training to the public
Babysitter/Home Alone Course 
  • Courses designed for children to deal with emergencies when home alone or babysitting
Hours Office Mon-Fri 8:30 am-12 noon, 1 pm-4:30 pm
Areas Served North Bay
Eligibility Ages: 9 year(s) and up 
  • Medical First Response Team: Volunteers must be at least 16 and have a St John Standard First Aid and Level C CPR Certificate 
  • Therapy Dog: Must be at least 18 and own a dog (dog will be evaluated for correct temperament) 
  • Babysitting Course: Must be 11 years and older 
  • Home Alone Course: Must be 9 years and older
