  • Functions as a human services agency that provides residential programs as well as behavioural and social needs assessments for children and youth 
  • Offers therapeutic foster homes, ranging from two to six beds in a home, and groups children with similar needs, such as age, developmental needs, interests, risks, mental health and behavioural needs 
  • Teaches children the skills necessary to cope in their homes and in the community 
  • Facilitates educational workshops and seminars
 
Residential Program 
Provides the following services to children and youth who are unable to live at home or on their own: 
  • 24 hour on-call support services for crisis intervention 
  • Behavioural assessments 
  • Clinical support and training 
  • Community based activities and recreational programs  
  • Comprehensive home studies for foster homes  
  • Comprehensive case management 
  • Emergency, respite, short, and long-term care 
  • Goal Planning 
  • Independent living assessments and training  
  • Individual counselling 
  • Psychological assessment services 
  • Social skills assessments and skills streaming group sessions  
  • Weekly therapeutic groups
Hours Office Mon-Fri 9 am-4 pm 
Mon-Sun 24 hours

Residential Program 
Children and youth who require out of home placements
Application
  • Most referrals made from Children's Aid Society 
  • Referrals from other community agencies and child welfare organizations are accepted 
  • Individuals and other agencies who wish to make a referral to the residential program are requested to fill out the referral form and return it by fax or e-mail
 
After a referral has been made, there will be an intake process that includes a tour of the home and meeting the staff
