Description (Agency) Operates a museum out of The Old Post Office, built in 1902 which is also home to the Algoma Weavers' Guild, the ArtSpeaks Project and the Sault Ste Marie and 49th Regiment R.C.A. Historical Society, a division of the Ontario Historical Society

  • Collects, preserves, and studies artifacts and archival materials that illustrate the history, the people and development of Sault Ste Marie  
  • Offers school tours and programming geared to curriculum  
  • Offers membership and volunteer opportunities 
  • Houses permanent galleries as well as travelling exhibits
