  • Provides compassionate care to individuals who are chronically and terminally ill 
  • Seeks to improve quality of life by helping individuals control their pain and symptoms as well as meet their physical, emotional, spiritual, social, and cultural needs 
  • Offers grief and bereavement support
Hours Visiting Hours Mon-Sun 8:30 am-8:30 pm 
Visiting hours are flexible and overnight stays can be arranged
Areas Served Kenora District ; Rainy River District ; Thunder Bay District
Eligibility
  • Individuals with end stage, life limiting diseases 
  • Individuals who have complex pain and symptom management issues that are not controlled 
  • Individuals with an unstable condition requiring close medical monitoring and extensive services

  • Before an individual is admitted, a tour of the unit can be arranged
